Job Opening: Natural Gas Worker

The Town of Roland is currently accepting applications for the position of Natural Gas Worker. This full-time position involves maintenance and operation of the Town’s natural gas system, including the use of heavy equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with natural gas systems

Experience operating heavy equipment

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to work outdoors in various conditions

Strong commitment to safety and public service

Primary Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair natural gas distribution lines

Safely operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and excavators

Conduct routine safety checks, inspections, and leak detection

Respond to service calls and emergency situations as needed

Maintain accurate records and documentation
